Like many good business ideas, PAEDIPROTECT emerged from a pressing need. As a dermatologist, Dr. Dr. Gerald Rehor couldn't find a cream for his own children that provided both sun protection and cold protection while being formulated to be low-irritant. At the same time, many young families were searching for affordable, easily accessible skincare products specifically tailored to the needs of sensitive, easily irritated baby skin.

Together with Dr. Olaf Stiller, the brand PAEDIPROTECT and its first product, the Wind and Weather Cream, were born from this idea in 2013. Since then, much has changed: the sun protection range has been expanded, and a skincare line for the whole family has been introduced to the market. To accommodate the growing team, a relocation took place.

Despite all these changes, much remains the same as at the beginning, and PAEDIPROTECT has remained true to its philosophy over the years. The company is still based in the beautiful Marburg in central Hesse, and they place value on all products being "Made in Germany". Dr. Gerald Rehor continues to serve as the scientific director, overseeing the development and further advancement of all products. Skin compatibility remains the most important criterion in the selection of formulations. PAEDIPROTECT continues to stand for authentic, high-quality skincare without unnecessary, irritating, or allergy-inducing ingredients - and they are very proud of it.
